Today marks another important moment for Evra.

We’ve filed a U.S. provisional patent application covering core aspects of our AI orchestration architecture: Systems and Methods for Technical Orchestration of Multimodal Health Signals Using Deterministic Validation and Safety-Constrained Personalization.

While this is an exciting step, it’s also an opportunity to reflect on why we chose to pursue intellectual property, and what we believe the future of healthcare AI should look like.

AI Is Becoming Abundant. Trust Is Not.

Over the past two years, we’ve witnessed remarkable advances in artificial intelligence. Large language models have become faster, more capable, and more accessible than ever before.

Yet healthcare is fundamentally different from most industries.

Healthcare isn’t simply about generating plausible answers. It requires integrating complex information across time, understanding uncertainty, recognizing when not to act, and ensuring that recommendations are grounded in evidence and appropriate for the individual sitting in front of you.

In healthcare, trust isn’t a feature—it’s the foundation.

Our provisional patent application reflects months of work developing the underlying technical architecture that powers Evra.

As both a physician and epidemiologist, I’ve spent my career thinking about prevention, not simply treating disease after it occurs.

The healthcare system often asks clinicians to make sense of enormous amounts of information during brief appointments while expecting patients to manage the other 99% of their lives on their own.

We believe AI can help bridge that gap.

Not by replacing clinicians.

Not by replacing judgment.

But by creating intelligent systems that make preventive care more proactive, personalized, and scalable.

A provisional patent is only one milestone in a much bigger journey.

We’re continuing to build Evra alongside clinicians, researchers, engineers, patients, and partners who share a common belief: that AI should make healthcare more human—not less.
