Evra Health

Catching up with James

Two Research Milestones for Evra Health

Date: July 30, 2026

At Evra, we believe the people who have served our country deserve better access to the tools that help them live healthier lives.

Today, we’re announcing preferred pricing for U.S. veterans: 30% off all Evra Core subscription.

Veterans face disproportionately high rates of chronic disease, chronic pain, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and suicide compared with the general U.S. population. While many receive excellent care through the VA and other providers, navigating the healthcare system can still be challenging, particularly when it comes to coordinating care, staying on medications, and managing health between visits. On average, approximately 17 veterans die by suicide each day, underscoring the urgent need for better access to continuous, proactive support.

This announcement is also deeply personal.

Recently, I spoke with James, a Washington, DC veteran who served two tours in the U.S. military. He shared the unique physical and mental health challenges many veterans face after service, as well as the frustration of navigating a fragmented healthcare system while trying to rebuild life outside the military. James will continue to help guide our work as we look to better serve veterans.

His story immediately reminded me of Willy, whom I met in Franklin, New York and wrote about previously. Willy spoke candidly about struggling to afford the medications he needed, a reality that no one should face, especially after a lifetime of contributing to their community.

Although their stories were different, they shared a common thread: people doing their best within a healthcare system that too often makes staying healthy harder than it should be.

Evra was built to change that.

At Evra, we are building an AI-powered health platform that helps people stay healthier between medical visits while reducing the friction involved in behavior change, chronic disease management, and prevention. This includes support for prescription renewals, meal scanning and ordering, lab test purchases, personalized health guidance, and access to human behavioral health support, either virtually or in person.

Our veterans preferred pricing initiative is one small step toward that mission.

If you are a U.S. veteran, thank you for your service. We hope this preferred pricing makes it a little easier to prioritize your health, and we’re honored to support you on that journey.
