Evra’s Closed Beta launches across the U.S. and India!

December 1, 2025

Today marks a major milestone for our team, our mission, and everyone who believes in a more human, science-rooted future for health.

We are thrilled to announce the closed pilot beta launch of Evra Health, simultaneously, across India and the United States!

You can view a video from our co-founder and CEO, Dr. Amitha Kalaichandran below.

For the first time, hundreds of early users across two continents will experience an AI health companion designed not to overwhelm, upsell, or confuse, but to support, clarify, and guide.
This is the start of something we believe will reshape how people build and protect their long-term health.

Why This Moment Matters

Around the world, people are struggling with the same problem:
health is fragmented, reactive, and difficult to navigate.
In both India and the US, individuals face rising chronic disease, contradictory advice, complicated systems, and data scattered across apps, labs, and wearables. Most digital health tools give information. Very few give agency.
Evra was built to change that.

Our closed beta is a chance to test new foundations for what health technology can be: calm, intelligent, evidence-based, and designed around real human lives.

Why a Dual Launch in India and the US?

Because these two geographies represent the world’s biggest opportunity for prevention — and also two very different realities of daily care.

India has some of the highest rates of metabolic disease in the world, a young and tech-fluent population, and a growing desire for proactive, affordable health support.

The United States has advanced diagnostics, wearable adoption, and a rising demand for personalized guidance instead of one-size-fits-all solutions.

Launching in both places at once allows us to build Evra in a way that is globally relevant from day one: rooted in science, informed by cultural nuance, and shaped by a truly diverse user base.

Half of our technical team is based in India. One of our advisors helped build one of India’s first direct-to-consumer AI health companies, scaling it to 1 billion before an exit.

This matters, because our product isn’t built in a vacuum. It’s shaped by real people, real needs, real lived experiences.

What Is Included in the Closed Beta

Over the next several weeks, our pilot group will help us refine and advance Evra’s core capabilities:

(i) Personalized risk synthesis
Evra integrates labs, wearables, lifestyle, and symptoms to create clear, early insights — not just dashboards.

(ii) Actionable day-to-day guidance
Users receive personalized recommendations based on their unique biology, routines, and goals.

(iii) A conversational AI model trained for health
Calm, supportive, and grounded in clinical guidance and lifestyle medicine principles, customized based on the user (e.g. more detail vs. more concise).

(iv) A new way of visualizing health trends
A simple dashboard with everything that matters (without the clutter) to reveal what’s changing, and what actually matters.

(v) A focus on prevention first
Evra was designed not for the 1–5% of elite biohackers, but for the 99% who need clarity, not complexity.
For the single mother trying to sleep better while juggling late-night work, early-morning school drop-offs, and the confusing symptoms of perimenopause; someone who needs simple guidance, not another dashboard of numbers.

For your neighbor who was just laid off from his investment firm, who’s doing everything he can to keep his diabetes under control but can no longer afford a health coach or recurring appointments; someone who needs steady support and clear next steps, not guilt or overwhelm.

For your dad, who is starting to struggle with everyday fitness in an aging body, doesn’t want to admit it, and needs a place where his labs, routines, and goals make sense in one view; someone who needs gentle prompts and achievable actions, not pressure or noise.

These are the people Evra was built for: real people with real lives, real constraints, and real aspirations. Not the extremes, but the everyday.

We designed Evra for you, and everyone else who has slipped through the cracks of healthcare system.

Our beta testers will help us measure usability, accuracy, delight, and real-world effectiveness – yes, this means real world health outcomes, not hype or upselling. Their feedback will guide what we ship in December (Phase 2 of our closed beta) and what we build for our open beta next year.

Why We Built Evra This Way

For too long, digital health has followed a “move fast, break things” mentality.
In health, that often means breaking trust: and creating churn, privacy issues, scientific shortcuts, and experiences that don’t improve outcomes. Evra was built differently.

Our approach is:
science-backed and rigorous
integrative and whole-person
intentional, not reckless
designed to serve, not to sell

As physicians, public health experts, engineers, financial analysts, lawyers, journalists, designers, we’ve spent years studying what builds trust (and what breaks it). Trust matters. Clarity matters. Science matters.

As Atul Gawande wrote, meaningful change in healthcare requires ‘steady, incremental progress.’ Evra brings that philosophy to AI-native health.

What’s Coming Next

We will make several refinements at the end of December as we incorporate user feedback, and release the next version of the app in time for New Year’s health goals.

Our open beta will begin in the spring of 2026, and we will begin letting people off the waitlist gradually. If you’re reading this and want early access, you can join the waitlist at:

Did we mention that our entry point offering is completely free? That’s because access matters (and we stand behind that value).

A Note of Gratitude

To our early testers across India and the US: thank you.

You are the first people in the world to experience Evra, and your feedback will shape a platform built to improve the lives of millions.

To our advisors, engineers, designers, physicians, and supporters — thank you for believing in a calmer, more intelligent, more humane future for health.

Today is the beginning.
And we’re just getting started.
